Ingredients:

- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1/2 cup molasses
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 2 teaspoons smoked paprika

- a beautiful Dutch oven
Instructions:
- Preheat your regular oven to 325°F.
- Drain the soaked navy beans and rinse them well.
- Combine the beans, chopped onion, ketchup, molasses, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, smoked paprika, garlic powder, black pepper, and water in your Dutch oven, and stir until it turns into a mixture.
- Add the diced bacon to the Dutch oven and stir to combine. Now you have a perfect flavor base. All you need to do is let the flavors unlock! Mmmm!
- Cover the Dutch oven with a lid and place it in the oven.
- Cook the beans for about 3 hours, stirring occasionally, until they are tender and the liquid has thickened. Resist the urge to eat them as they will smell amazing! Mmmm! (ok let's keep moving)
- Remove the Dutch oven from the regular oven and let it cool for a couple of minutes.
- Serve the baked beans hot, garnished with extra bacon or chopped fresh parsley, if desired. Delicious!
